Texas Together We Rise Citizenship Clinic & Community Fair

We are proud to partner with Texas AFT, AFT, AFT locals from the Houston area, and community activists to host a citizenship clinic and community fair, “Together We Rise"!

This labor and community effort provides free legal assistance and support to complete the U.S. citizenship application to over 300,000 legal permanent residents (LPRs) in the Houston area eligible for naturalization and who meet all of the requirements.

The community fair features a Reading Opens the World book distribution; a job/internship recruitment fair, community resources and health screenings; and free activities for kids like face-painting, food and music.
