Councilwoman Cheryl Lee

Cheryl has been employed with AT&T 22 years and has served as a proud member of CWA for 22 years.  Cheryl is a published author, has a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University.  In her community she has served as Secretary for the Bastrop Juneteenth Committee, and as a  Commissioner on the Bastrop Planning and Zoning Committee and currently, she serves as the first black female elected to Bastrop City Council in Bastrop, TX.  In 2019, she was awarded the official Gold President's Volunteer Service Award, signed by the President of the United States (then Donald J. Trump) for completing over 400 Community Service Volunteer Hours, and the Silver in 2020.  She is a mother of a son, loves to travel and finds joy in the small things in life, I give you Cheryl Lee.
