Kara Sheehan

Kara Sheehan is the Texas Chapter Manager for Local Progress, a membership-based organization fighting for racial and economic justice. Kara's work focuses on moving local policy to protect abortion access, advance workers' rights, create avenues for safe and accessible housing, advocate for immigrant justice, and build community safety.  Prior to this, Kara worked for the North Texas Jobs With Justice, the Texas AFL-CIO, and Workers Defense Project.
