We're Involved -- Join the Fight!

The fight is on, and the current battlefield is Terminal D at DFW Airport.

President Trump's executive order on refugees and immigrants caught many legal U.S. residents while they were traveling. A number were detained by authorities in international airports such as DFW. Beginning on January 28, progressive activists gathered to demand "let them go!"

As of January 29, Sunday afternoon, several were still detained and crowds at the airport continued to grow. Dallas AFL-CIO Political Director Lorraine Montemayor, keeping strictly to previously announced local and national AFL-CIO policy, says that union supporters should consider joining the protest.
