Labor Day 2019 will be stronger than ever in North Texas. Not only will union activists gather in unprecedented numbers, but they will be joined by solid friends from churches, civil rights organizations, and community groups. We are working together to confront the crisis and make a better world for working families.

The first of several festivities will be the barbecue at the Texas State Employees Union headquarters,  11:30 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, August 24 at 737 South R.L. Thornton Fwy in  Dallas.

That evening at 6PM, the College of Complexes free speech forum celebrates labor with a discussion led by Dallas AFL-CIO Digital Organizing Committee leader Gene Lantz at Roma’s pizza, 7033 Greenville Ave in Dallas.

The main event of the year for Dallas labor is the Dallas AFL-CIO Labor Day Breakfast starting at 8:30AM at Eddie Deen's Ranch, 944 S Lamar St in Dallas. Over 500 will participate, but the venue and parking are bigger than ever. Contact Jason at 214-826-4808 for your tickets.

It will be followed by the Tarrant County  Labor Day Picnic 1 PM – 6 PM, at 701 NW Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington.
