SAG-AFTRA holds its first Texas action tomorrow, September 9, at 9 AM at Reverchon Park, 3505 Maple Ave in Dallas. With 160,000 families on strike, they represent the most important labor action in America. Television channel NBCTV has already interviewed them and announced the rally.

SAG-AFTRA is signing up North Texas supporters on line. Please attend the rally and help working families win!

The Dallas AFL-CIO Labor Day Breakfast in the Longhorn Ballroom was wonderful. There are interesting pictures all over the internet. A short audio recording is posted on knon.org.

Let’s Keep Improving

Are we organized enough and communicating well enough to meet the gigantic new opportunities for working families? Are we ready to win the strike and organizing drives underway and the ones that are about to start? Have you texted the word “action” to the phone number “235246?”

Dallas labor needs to know if you’re helped by our web site’s new labor calendar. We need to know your preferred way of communicating: Telephone? Texting? Social media? Feedback to Genelantz.dallasaflcio@gmail.com
