Labor Day in Dallas promises to be our biggest and best ever! The jewel at the center is the Labor Day Breakfast. Union and political figures are supporting in excellent numbers. In addition to a wonderful union event, participants will also be able to see many of the great aerospace products produced here in North Texas, because the event is in the ballroom at the Frontiers of Flight Aerospace Museum at Love Field

The events around the Labor Day period are also exploding. Dallas County Democrats will hold their Labor Day Picnic at 1414 Washington right after the AFL-CIO breakfast. Central Labor Council President Ray Oliver Edmondson is organizing a special event for activists who want to show support en masse for the unionizing Starbucks workers. Call or text him at 469 360 9969.

Be sure to let your Starbucks server know that the NLRB has ruled against management for union busting. All Starbucks workers are entitled to the same raises that the company had offered only to non-union!

One church group and one free-speech forum have already requested union speakers. Those who want a speaker, or unionists who are willing to speak, should contact Gene Lantz at 214-942-4236. We expect more church congregations to want labor in their program on September 4.

Labor's political agenda is set to take off. Contact Jason Tomlinson at 214-826-4808 to participate in phone banking and house canvassing. 2022 is a big year for labor!
