It's a wonderful weekend to celebrate the many benefits from organized labor to all working families. This week brought news that labor has the highest approval rating in five decades -- a whopping 71% of Americans approve of our labor movement! By contrast, look at other's approval ratings: The President of the United States has risen to 44% approval, the front runner for President in 2024, Bernie Sanders, has only 46% approval, and Congress can't seem to get above 25%!
Labor deserves its popularity as more and more people realize that organizing is the key to a better future. National AFL-CIO is launching its biggest-ever organizing drive to win in November. Texas AFL-CIO is kicking off a massive electoral drive. Central labor councils across Texas are celebrating.
It's a great time to get active with the labor movement. It's a great time to celebrate!
