The Texas AFL-CIO COPE Board late yesterday endorsed Rochelle Garza for Attorney General, along with additional endorsements ahead of the Nov. 8 general election.

“Rochelle Garza understands that Texas working families need someone to fight for them – a true ‘People’s Lawyer,’” Texas AFL-CIO President Rick Levy said. “Rochelle has shown that she is that person – a leader who will stand up for all Texans’ rights, so we will stand up for her.”

“Indicted Attorney General Ken Paxton is an embarrassment. It is time for him to go,” Levy said. “Texas voters have a golden opportunity to return justice to the Attorney General’s office.”

A full list of endorsements by the political arm of the Texas AFL-CIO is attached. Those with asterisks were added to the list during a meeting late yesterday.
