Sarai King Oza
Sarai King Oza is a union-side labor lawyer. In New York, Washington DC, and Austin TX, she has advocated for workers in food and beverage retail, municipal services, K-12 public education, higher education, and meatpacking and poultry processing. She recently returned to private practice after serving as Assistant General Counsel to the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union where she advised on bargaining, organizing, employment discrimination, immigration, health and safety, and internal governance. Her experience includes arbitrating and litigating individual cases, as well as work on complex litigation, such as novel state constitutional claims about enforcing private contractual rights and the right to protest on private property.
