Banding Together Virtual Concert

The Texas AFL-CIO and Sponsors invite you to our LIVE virtual concert fundraiser featuring an array of diverse and talented musicians. 

Every year, we look forward to hosting the Texas AFL-CIO/Walter Umphrey Golf Tournament.  But given the current and growing concern around Covid-19, we made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 tournament in September.  This was a tough call to make, but our priority is the health and safety of participants, volunteers, guests and the staff at the Texas AFL-CIO.  Rest assured, the golf tournament will return in 2021. 

In place of the golf tournament, we will be hosting a virtual concert, “Banding Together.” This online event will take place on September 23rd from 6-7:30pm.

 Proceeds will benefit the Texas AFL-CIO Scholarship Fund and Texas AFL-CIO Membership Education Fund. Stay tuned as we start to add exciting local, state and national performers to this memborable evening at home.
