Texas Workers Relief Fund

The Texas Workers Relief Fund is a 501(c)(3) charitable fund overseen by the Texas AFL-CIO and established to assist workers and their families in their time of need.  

Funds are requested through local unions or central labor bodies. Funds are then provided through local unions and central labor bodies to help stabilize situations with basic needs when issues occur such as natural disasters and worker strikes, as well as to plan for a better tomorrow with opportunities for rebuilding communities and scholarships.  Workers Assistance Program, Inc. operates this fund in conjunction with the Texas AFL-CIO.
