Union leaders from American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) representing tens of thousands of federal employees will hold a press conference demanding an end to the government shutdown that’s hurting working families across the country.

Speakers include: 

  • U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33)

  • Justin Chen, AFGE Council 238 President representing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) employees

  • Johnny Jones, AFGE Council 100 Secretary-Treasurer representing Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees
