On July 7, 2026, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo - a 35 year resident of Houston - was killed by ICE on our streets on his way to work. He was a father, a husband and he should have made it back home to his family at the end of the day.
1 out of every 4 ICE arrests are happening in Texas, Texas is the copy and paste for the rest of the country when it comes to anti-immigrant policies and attacks against our community. In this moment we need to come together to respond, and make demands clear for the change we want to see not only in Houston but our state.
Join us at Remembrance Park (1121 Franklin St, Houston, TX 77002) for a rally and then we will march to Houston City Hall (901 Bagby St, Houston, TX 77002) to demand justice for Lorenzo, for the witnesses to be released and action from our local elected officials and Governor.
