After years of organizing for respect, fair pay, transparency, and a real voice at work, United Workers of Harris Center members spoke directly to the Board about low pay, staffing, program cuts, and the way frontline workers have been treated.
That same day, CEO Wayne Young announced his resignation. Now The Harris Center has a chance to move in a better direction, but workers and community members need a real voice in what comes next.
