About our speakers:
David Salcido is the Northside ISD School Board Trustee for District 1. As a former NISD employee, parent, and grandparent, he understands firsthand the needs of educators, students, and the community.
Councilman Edward Mungia is a proud product of our local public schools who previously served as a Trustee for the South San ISD School Board and currently sits on City Council's Educational Opportunities Committee.
Dr. Chloe Sikes is the IDRA Deputy Director of Policy, with nearly a decade of experience of working in both K-12 and higher education settings, as well as in educational research and advocacy organizations.
