Texas AFL-CIO Responds to Greg Abbott Signing Trump’s Redistricting Scheme

AUSTIN, Texas – Today, the Texas AFL-CIO released the following statement after Greg AbbottsignedDonald Trump’s redistricting scheme into law. 

“By himself, alone in his office, Greg Abbott saluted Donald Trump one more time by signing his redistricting scheme into law,” said Texas AFL-CIO President Rick Levy. “This fight is far from over. The way things are is not the way things have to be. We urge every person of conscience to speak out, put workers over billionaires, and fight back alongside us across the country — because working people can and must win.”
