Texas Labor Day events kicking off election season
TEXAS – This week, the Texas AFL-CIO, Area Labor Federations, Central Labor Councils, and Texas union members will gather at multiple events across the state to celebrate Labor Day and officially kick off election season.
“This Labor Day, our Texas labor movement is officially kicking off election season and doing the work to take back our state,” said Texas AFL-CIO President Leonard Aguilar. “When working people come together and fight for each other, we can stand up to the wealthiest CEOs and the most corrupt politicians. When we fight, we win!”
