Emily Amps

Emily Amps is the Director of Politics & Policy at the Texas AFL-CIO. Prior to joining the state federation in December 2021, she worked in the Texas Legislature for 13 years, primarily as a House chief of staff, and on political campaigns for a dozen years before working in the Capitol. She is a member of OPEIU Local 277.
